I moved to CT a year ago and STRUGGLED to find a salon I liked, and this is the first legit alt salon I've found. I have naturally curly hair (3a) and have been getting curly cuts for years, but no one was ever brave enough to give me the short-layered shag of my dreams. Then, Jemma Herd entered into my life. I had added on an extra 30 minutes for my first cut with her (I love that they offer the option for additional time, and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a style overhaul), and she spent so much of the appointment listening to what I wanted and helping me figure out what I DIDN'T want. She didn't do anything to my hair (cutting, drying, etc.) without asking for permission first. I have been L-O-V-I-N-G this cut from the start. My only regret is that we never got any "before and after" shots, because she did such a killer job!
